Position Overview

We are recruiting at Olkiluoto in Eurajoki for security personnel in accordance with nuclear energy act. Roles are full-time and permanent. A security officer is a person trained to safeguard the use of nuclear energy and to exercise the special powers defined in the act.

Salary

• Salary for the security officer role is set at TES level 4A for the guarding sector plus job-specific allowances.

Responsibilities

• The security officer ensures safe movement of people and goods in the power plant.
• The security officer prevents incidents.
• The security officer deters illicit activity.
• Security inspections.
• Area and access control.
• Maintenance and alarm duties.
• Security checks.
• Area access control.
• System maintenance and alarm tasks.
• Monitoring and responding to security incidents.
• Ensuring safe corridors for staff and materials within the facility.

Requirements

• at least 20 years of age
• a valid guard card
• clean criminal background
• prior security work experience
• approved use-of-force training

• fluent Finnish
• sufficient English
• prior experience with nuclear energy-law-based guard duties
• Firefit fitness testing will be conducted according to the defined level
