Job summary

SOL Palvelut in Oulu is seeking two energetic and reliable hotel Service Attendants for a permanent, part-time position to clean and prepare rooms, change linens, and maintain bathrooms. You will work 25-30 hours per week, Mon-Sun 8-16, with Swan-labeled cleaning onboarding and emphasis on environmentally friendly practices.

The role requires good English, a flexible, motivated attitude, and strong customer service, with opportunities for growth and a positive workplace atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Good English for communication and safety.
• Finnish language skills are an advantage.
• Flexibility in shifts and duties.
• Motivated attitude and reliable work ethic.
• Sunny customer service orientation and willingness to commit to duties.
• Must be of legal age.
• Experience in cleaning tasks, especially hotel cleaning, is advantageous but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are important.
• Good interpersonal skills enable smooth collaboration in a multicultural work environment.
• Good basic fitness to support performance.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparing rooms (making beds and changing linens, emptying bins, cleaning surfaces, vacuuming and mopping floors, and cleaning bathrooms and toilets).
• Additional cleaning tasks or supportive duties in the hotel restaurant as needed.
• Teamwork and communication with accommodation staff, and when necessary with guests.
• Inspection and reporting of damages and maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Management of cleaning equipment and supplies: maintenance of equipment and replenishment of cleaning agents.
• Participate in environmentally friendly cleaning practices and onboarding according to Swan label criteria.
