Job summary

ISS Palvelut Oy is hiring a full-time multiservice worker for a daycare site in Oulu (Ritaharju). The role includes breakfast and snack prep, dishwashing, cooking, serving, and ensuring kitchen cleanliness. Also manages self-monitoring, orders, and maintenance cleaning.

Working hours are 6:00–13:30 on weekdays; fixed-term substitute until 28 August 2027 with ~112.5 hours per 3 weeks. Possibility of continuation at other Oulu-area sites.

Qualifications

• Good Finnish language skills (spoken and written).
• Experience in restaurant and catering or related tasks is a plus.
• Good physical condition.
• Hygiene pass or certificate.
• Ability to organize own work and be helpful.
• Excellent service attitude and ability to work with customers and team.
• Clean criminal background (police clearance for working with children).

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast and snacks for daycare, and handle dishwashing.
• Cook and reheat food, and perform serving line duties.
• Prepare energy supplements and salads as required.
• Oversee internal self-monitoring, orders and kitchen cleanliness.
• Maintenance cleaning tasks amount to about two hours during the workday.

Job description

Full-time multiservice worker for a daycare site in Oulu. The role involves assisting in the kitchen of a daycare located in Ritaharju, including preparing breakfast and snacks, dishwashing, cooking and reheating food, serving line duties, energy supplements and salads, and also overseeing internal self-monitoring, orders and kitchen cleanliness. The position also includes maintenance cleaning tasks amounting to about two hours during the workday. Working hours are weekdays from 6:00 to 13:30. This is a fixed-term substitute until 28.8.2027 with an average of 112.5 hours every 3 weeks. Start date as soon as possible. There may be continuation after the fixed term in other Oulu-area sites. The wage is at least the pay level 2 of the Hospitality, Catering and Freizeit sector collective agreement, depending on experience: 1942–2160 €/month plus possible overtime pay.
