Job summary

Wärtsilä is seeking a temporary Specialist, Supplier Cyber Assurance to join our Cyber Governance, Risk and Assurance team. This role focuses on effective third‑party cyber risk management, with primary locations in Helsinki, Vaasa, or Trieste, Italy.

You will assess supplier risks, monitor performance, and drive improvements in supplier cyber practices, ensuring compliance with security requirements and standards. Fluent English and a proactive, independent approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering/science, cyber security, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in at least three areas: supplier risk assessments, third‑party risk management, supplier sourcing agreements, software supply‑chain risks, ISO27001.
• Cyber security certification or formal training.
• Knowledge of applicable cyber security standards and regulations.
• Knowledge of common supplier assessment and monitoring tools.
• Good reporting and documentation skills.
• Fluent English in writing and speaking.
• Independent and self-driven.
