Job summary

V7 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Permanent Structural Engineer to join a major data centre project near Helsinki, Finland. You will lead structural design from concept through construction and handover, coordinating with consultants, contractors and client teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with proven experience on industrial, commercial, or mission-critical facilities and a solid understanding of Eurocodes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience in structural design and analysis of industrial, commercial, mission-critical, or data centre facilities.
• Knowledge of Eurocodes and relevant international design standards.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies and infrastructure design.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate steel, concrete, foundations and structural design.
• Review designs, drawings, calculations and technical submissions.
• Manage consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Support programme, procurement and quality delivery.
• Resolve technical and constructability issues on site.
• Ensure compliance with Eurocodes and client standards.
• Support handover and project close-out.
