Job summary

AGCO Power Oy is seeking a Category Buyer to manage Engine Components sourcing. You will develop sub-category strategies, select suppliers, and drive cost reductions to meet budget targets, while collaborating with Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams.

You will monitor supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with policies and sustainability objectives. Proficiency in English and Finnish is required, with SAP experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in a relevant field.
• 3+ years in procurement, sourcing, or category management, preferably in manufacturing.
• English and Finnish language proficiency mandatory; strong negotiation and cost analysis skills.
• Familiarity with eSourcing tools and procurement analytics; SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sub-category sourcing strategies aligned with the category plan.
• Identify, evaluate and select suppliers to ensure pricing, quality and service levels.
• Own cost reduction initiatives and analyze TCO for sourcing decisions.
• Draft, negotiate and manage supplier contracts in line with policies.
