Job summary

AlphaSense, Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer in Helsinki to shape our Cloud DX delivery infrastructure.

You will design and operate production-grade CI/CD systems, contribute hands-on in Go and Python, and drive AI-assisted workflows across a globally distributed engineering organization. You will own end-to-end delivery, improve pipeline reliability and speed, and partner with Cloud Platform teams to enable self-service, observable deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience in Platform Engineering or Developer Experience focused on CI/CD and delivery.
• Experience owning and operating a CI/CD platform including security and configuration.
• Proven ability to design and operate delivery systems at scale.
• Hands-on software development experience in production-quality Go.
• Passion for progressive delivery practices: canary deployments and automated rollbacks.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve CI/CD architecture and the developer-facing experience.
• Drive improvements to pipeline reliability, speed, and predictability.
• Define paved paths for product teams to ship fast and safely.
• Own the delivery process end-to-end, from code merge to production.
• Champion progressive delivery practices: canary deployments and automated rollbacks.
• Build tooling for observable, repeatable, self-service deployments.
• Own and evolve the Internal Developer Portal and self-service experience.
• Collaborate with Cloud Platform teams on infrastructure while owning the developer-facing delivery.
• Embed AI tooling into delivery workflows to boost productivity.
