Job summary

If Insurance is seeking a seasoned Fullstack developer to strengthen the Claims Solutions squad. You will work with .NET Core (C#) on the backend and React/Next.js on the frontend, supporting both new serverless apps and legacy systems, in a hybrid workplace in Finland.

The role emphasizes collaboration across squads, tribes and stakeholders, with agile practices and Azure stack. You will have opportunities to grow your skills and contribute to a leading Nordic insurance group.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a full-stack developer with backend focus.

Job description

Most of our tech teams are working in an agile setup consisting of tribes and cross-functional squads to enable an optimal environment to reach our shared objectives and key results. In Claims Solutions we work with technical solutions that have the power to turn misfortunes into possibilities. We help our customers to rebuild and recover when the unexpected happens. We use technology to provide customer self-service, intelligent claims processes, and a smooth journey to our customers.

We are now looking for a C# Developer. The squad is responsible for Worker’s Compensation and annual payments among other things.

About The Role

You will be working with the services supporting claims handling squad using a modern Azure stack alongside select legacy systems. We build new serverless applications using .NET Core (C#) and React/Next.js, while supporting existing .NET Framework, Angular, WCF, and WinForms applications. In this role you will be both maintaining and developing solutions and services and you’ll have an opportunity to work with an interesting stack. You will participate in improving the ways of working together with the squad and are expected to have active collaboration with other squads, tribes and stakeholders.

Who are you?

You are an experienced Fullstack developer with proven track record and focus on Backenddevelopment but Frontend skills will be put to a good use as well. You are willing to be involved in all phases of the software development life cycle. You consider yourself a team player and are ready to share and support team members in various situations.

You Also Have

• Experience with Frontend React, Typescript, React state management (plus if you are familiar with similar libraries)
• Azure DevOps skills: Azure project management tools
• Backend .net / C#, design patterns MVC, CQRS, Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies and frameworks such as OAuth2
• Event driven architecture and technologies - Azure Servicebus, NServicebus Databases (SQL server, CosmosDb)
• Azure cloud technologies (Computing and Infrastructure PaaS), biceps and networking
• Copilot or similar Integrated AI development tools
• Good communication skills in English
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Some basic knowledge of the insurance industry is seen as an advantage
