Qualifications

Design, implement, unit test, and document new integrations, device interfaces, and modules for the Connect environment
Diagnose, analyze, and fix reported defects and deviations
Perform technical implementation work and collaborate with customers
Participate in technical design discussions and prepare design documents for global R&D and customer projects
Conduct code reviews and maintain technical documentation
Collaborate seamlessly with R&D, testing, and support teams
Organize internal training for colleagues when needed

Requirements

Experience in Java development
Suitable higher education degree, e.g. computer science or Bachelor/Master of Engineering (AMK/DI)
At least 3 years of IT industry experience, primarily in Java and JavaScript programming and integrations/APIs
Knowledge of relational databases, e.g. Oracle or MS SQL Server
Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, version control, and unit testing
Strong logical reasoning, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Fluent working proficiency in Finnish and English
Readiness to work in an international, multicultural team
Experience with device integrations, APIs, or other system integrations is an advantage
Experience working with customers or in customer projects is an advantage
Experience with agentic AI tools such as Cursor, Claude, Gemini, or Abacus and AI/ML basics is an advantage
Knowledge of modern UI technologies such as React and Servlet, jQuery, or XML technologies is an advantage
Knowledge of laboratory systems or the LabVantage platform is an advantage
