Sine Engineering seeks a Silicon Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary SoC team in Tampere, Finland. The role emphasizes people development, execution excellence, and driving complex silicon programs from concept through tape-out and bring-up.

You will collaborate with architects, project managers, and discipline leads to ensure delivery, foster technical excellence, and build a high-performance engineering culture across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SoC engineering teams.
• Strong people management and coaching.
• Solid understanding of the full SoC development lifecycle and dependencies.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration and vendors/partners.

Responsibilities

• People management of SoC engineering teams, including hiring, onboarding, performance management and career development.
• Coach and develop engineers at all levels from early-career contributors to senior leads.
• Resource planning and allocation across SoC programs, balancing project demands with team capacity and growth.
• Partner with SoC Architects, Project Managers, and discipline leads to ensure execution health and drive delivery from concept through tape-out and bring-up.
• Foster a strong engineering culture focused on technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Drive cross-organization initiatives such as methodology improvements and IP evaluations.
