Job summary

Ardmac is seeking Site Managers to lead interior fit-out projects in Europe, including Finland, on data centre and controlled environments. You will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time and within budget, while coordinating with clients and project teams.

Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in site management and experience with data centres or controlled environments, a solid understanding of construction methods, and the ability to manage risk and resources

Qualifications

• Must have prior site management experience on interior fit-out or controlled environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects safely following Ardmac Safety First principles.
• Provide information, training and emergency procedures to operatives and subcontractors.
• Review subcontractor documentation for adequacy of planning and risk assessment.
• Ensure works installed per drawings and inspected for specification compliance.
• Develop and implement environmental management plans for sites.
• Maintain strong client/project team relationships throughout the contract.
• Carry out day-to-day activities professionally per company systems and procedures.

Job Purpose

We are currently recruiting for Site Managers in Europe including Finland for data centre projects - experience of managing fit out in controlled environments is preferred. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely delivering an interior fit-out project on time and to budget, the contracts and works under their control.

Site Manager Responsibilities:

• Deliver Projects in accordance with Ardmac Safety First Guiding Principles
• The provision of or ensuring that information, instruction and training is provided to Operatives and Subcontractors in emergency procedures and the content of Risk Assessments and safe systems of work.
• Ensuring the review Sub-Contractor documentation for adequacy with regard to task planning, risk assessment, training, resources and supervision on their sites.
• Ensuring all works installed as per correct issue of drawings and that works are inspected to ensure compliance to specification.
• Ensuring environmental management plans are developed and implemented for all relevant sites
• Maintain excellent working relationship with Client/ Project team throughout the contract.
• Carrying all day to day activities in a professional manner in line with our companies systems and procedures.

Experience:

• Previous track record in site management
• Experience of data centre or other industrial / controlled environment construction strongly preferred
• Knowledge of interior fit out projects
• Knowledge of construction methods and best practice, technologies and materials
• Measurement and valuation
