Job summary

Nordex Finland is seeking a Service Technician to perform autonomous turbine repairs, maintenance, and fault diagnosis at the Närpiö service point. You will troubleshoot faults, manage spare parts, and ensure safety guidelines are followed.

We offer a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with overtime paid per the collective agreement and on-call weekend compensation. Wind turbine experience and EU electrical qualifications are valued.

Qualifications

• EU-recognized vocational education in electrical field.
• Solid work experience as an Electrician.
• Wind turbine experience is an advantage.
• Solution-oriented and analytical mindset.
• Good English communication skills required.
• Good computer skills are advantageous.
• Good physical condition; medical check required; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Autonomous simple repairs of turbines, troubleshooting and faultfinding.
• Carry out planned maintenance and inspection activities with subcontractors.
• Repair or exchange main components.
• Check inventory of spare parts stock and management of on-site material.

Job description

Are you an Electrician and looking for new challenges? Join us at Nordex Finland as a Service Technician.

You will be stationed at the Närpiö service point, working alongside a team of skilled professionals. Your primary duties will include identifying and resolving faults and performing maintenance on wind turbines. Join us in our mission to create a greener future for all!

As a Service Technician, you can expect to work Monday through Friday with shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The salary range is 3300 - 3500 €/month depending on your experience. Overtime is compensated according to the collective agreement. Additionally, there may be weekends where you will be required to work on-call, which will be also be compensated. Please note that this position does not involve any rotation.

Your Tasks

• Autonomous simple repairs of turbines, troubleshooting and faultfinding
• Carry out planned maintenance and inspection activities with subcontractors
• Repair or exchange main components
• Check inventory of spare parts stock and be responsible for material on site
• Follow all Health & Safety related instructions and guidelines

Your Profile

• You have a vocational education in the electrical field and your qualifications are recognized in the EU. Additionally, you have solid proof of your work experience as an Electrician
• Wind turbine experience is a definite advantage
• You have a solution-oriented and analytical mindset
• Good English communication skills are a must in this job, as most of our instructions, trainings and internal communications are in English
• Good computer skills are also an advantage
• A good physical condition is a requirement for the job, so you need to pass a medical check prior to starting with us
• You have a valid driver's license
