Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Verification & Validation (V&V)
• Hands-on HIL/SIL testing experience in Automotive or OHE domain

• Hands-on experience in Agentic AI development and implementation
• Experience in executing POCs and technical assessments

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer to lead and drive V&V activities for automotive and Off-Highway Equipment (OHE) systems. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in HIL/SIL testing, automation, AI-driven validation approaches, and end-to-end V&V processes. This role will focus on enhancing testing efficiency through advanced automation and agentic AI solutions while ensuring the highest quality standards across product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute Verification & Validation (V&V) activities across the product lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and execute Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) test solutions.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripting for validation activities.
• Create and implement Agentic AI solutions to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Identify opportunities to infuse AI across the V&V process, including test generation, execution, analysis, and reporting.
• Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) and technical assessments for new tools, methodologies, and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system, software, and hardware engineering teams.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and support issue resolution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with automotive quality and safety standards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Verification & Validation (V&V).
• Strong hands-on experience in HIL/SIL Testing within the Automotive or OHE domain.
• Expertise in test automation scripting (Python, CAPL, MATLAB, or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience in Agentic AI development and implementation.
• Experience in executing POCs and technical assessments.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end V&V processes.
• Experience in integrating AI-driven solutions into testing and validation activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, and J1939.
• Exposure to ADAS, Autonomous Systems, Electrification, or Embedded Systems.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE.
• Experience with HIL platforms such as dSPACE, Vector, NI, or ETAS.
