Job summary

Danfoss Drives is seeking a Test Engineer - Product Testing in Vaasa, Finland. You will validate AC drives, inverters, AFE units, grid converters, and DC-DC converters in a lab setting with prototypes and new releases. You’ll generate data and insights to support product development and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering with an electrical focus.
• Knowledge of electrical safety principles and safe laboratory practices.
• Experience with lab testing environments is a plus.
• Strong English communication; Finnish understanding is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform R&D, prototype, type, and approval testing across the product lifecycle.
• Prepare and configure drives for testing, including assembly and software setup.
• Use lab equipment to measure and evaluate product behavior.
• Analyze results and collaborate with development engineers to drive improvements.
• Contribute to an Agile Scrum team in developing power conversion products.
