Job summary

Kuuasema in Helsinki seeks an experienced Technical Artist to bring ambitious visuals to life in Unity, from UI shaders to particle effects and animation. You will ensure visuals polish while keeping performance strong across devices.

You’ll bridge concepts to functional systems, optimize rendering for mobile, build artist-friendly tools, and collaborate across disciplines. Fluent English required. Hybrid role with three days at the office in Finland.

Qualifications

• Experience with Unity real-time rendering and mobile optimization.
• Strong ability to implement UI art, shaders and particle effects.
• Proven track record delivering visually polished features across gameplay systems.

Responsibilities

• Bridge concepts to functional Unity systems across departments.
• Develop and maintain UI shaders; design and optimize particle systems and VFX.
• Identify and resolve rendering, shader and animation bottlenecks to keep performance high.
• Build tools and scripts to improve artist productivity and streamline pipelines.
