Job summary

Jobtailor in Tampere is seeking a skilled software professional to advise customers in M-Files projects and shape system designs that fit business needs.

You will collaborate with direct customers and partners, document requirements, and contribute to scalable, maintainable implementations across sizable projects in a digital workplace.

Fluent English and Finnish are essential, and knowledge of Azure, SQL Server, .NET, and ITIL/SAFe is valued to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• M.Sc degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related field is required.
• Strong software development and IT integration experience.
• Fluent in English and Finnish; Swedish is a plus.
• Experience documenting specifications with Visio or PowerPoint.
• Hands-on AI tools experience is valued.

Job description

Responsibilities

Consulting with direct customers and M-Files partners in M-Files projects. Supporting customers in developing their business processes with the use of our product. Defining business requirements with the customer and planning a system design with the ascertained requirements. Choosing the correct methods of implementation with scalability and maintenance in mind to ensure high customer value throughout the solution's lifecycle. Participating in the continuous development of implementation practices. Working in significant projects that change the way customers do business in a digital, work-from-anywhere world!

Requirements

• Software development skills (C#, JavaScript, HTML)
• Experience in various different integrations between IT systems
• Experience in documenting specifications and tools used for it (e.g. Visio, PowerPoint)
• Experience in working in the customer interface
• Ability and passion to learn about IT systems
• Fluency in English and Finnish, other language skills are considered as an advantage, especially highly appreciated with fluent Swedish skills
• M.Sc degree (or equivalent) in computer science, IT, engineering, or in other technical or commercial fields
• Additionally, we value competence in some of these areas:
• Various IT systems and databases
• Understanding of software development and how programming can be utilized in implementations
• Corporate IT infrastructure (Windows Server, Databases, Network Infrastructure)
• Other technologies: M-Files, Windows, Azure, SQL Server, .NET
• Certifications in various frameworks (e.g. ITIL, SAFe, COBIT and TOGAF)
• Hands-on experience with AI assistants such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, and Gemini
• Experience building AI-assisted solutions in both personal projects and professional environments
