Job summary

Nutanix is seeking a Service Provider Systems Engineer to join the EMEA MSP team. You will provide presales support to service providers, drive proposals, and manage POCs while building strong partner relationships and driving joint success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of presales in the Service Provider space or SI space; 10 years customer-facing/technical experience.
• Fluent in Finnish and English; Norwegian is a plus.
• Strong networking and virtualization skills.
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of storage, multi-tenancy, automation and blueprinting tools (Ansible, Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical presales support to Service Provider sellers and address inquiries.

About the Team

The Service Provider team at Nutanix is focused on delivering comprehensive solutions tailored to service providers across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. The mission of the MSP team is to enhance the delivery of Nutanix's cutting-edge technologies in the managed services landscape, ensuring that partners receive the support and resources needed to succeed in a competitive market.

You will report to the Manager for Service Provider SE’s in the Europe, Middle East, Africa region, who champions a supportive leadership style aimed at removing barriers for team members and empowering them to execute their roles effectively. The travel requirements for this role are expected to be around 40% initially, with the potential to increase to 50% or even 60% as the region becomes busier. This translates to approximately 1 to 3 days of travel per week, although much work can effectively be accomplished via virtual meetings, minimizing the need for constant travel.

Your Role

• Provide technical Presales support to Service Provider sellers, addressing inquiries and facilitating solutions.
• Conduct proposal development and sizing based on Service Provider data to drive business initiatives.
• Organize and manage proof of concepts (POCs) and demonstrations for partners.
• Collaborate with specialists and internal teams to develop comprehensive technical strategies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with Service Providers to support their business objectives and drive mutual success.
• Build and maintain strong relationships within partner networks to foster community engagement.
• Achieve set performance metrics and contribute to over-quota results in managed services offerings.
• Support team growth by identifying the need for additional resources based on workload and performance.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning by experimenting with new technologies and processes.
• Work with the Nutanix Regional SE Manager to drive field pre-and post-sales alignment and engagement with partners.
• Invest time and effort to learn new technologies quickly to help our partners adapt their solutions and integrate your knowledge into their efforts
• Subject matter expertise in one or more relevant technology disciplines to establish credibility with technical leader.

What You Will Bring

• Minimum of 5 years of presales experience in the Service Provider space or Systems Integrators and 10 years of customer-facing and/or technical experience.
• Fluent in Finnish, English and ideally Norwegian
• Strong networking and virtualization skills.
• Experience with public cloud technologies, specifically AWS and Azure.
• Knowledge of storage technologies and multi-tenancy architectures.
• Familiarity with automation, scripting, and application blueprinting technologies (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
• Understanding of cloud-native technologies and security practices.
• Confident public speaking and exceptional relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and translate goals into actionable plans.
• Solid understanding of VMware Cloud Director and/or Cloud Foundation (VCF)
