Etteplan seeks a System Architect to define and drive the technical architecture of complex embedded product solutions across industries. You will own the system-level view, integrating electronics, mechanics and embedded software to create manufacturable and certifiable products, and serve as the technical anchor for demanding customer engagements from concept to delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in embedded systems development with system-level architecture responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end system architecture, across hardware, software and mechanics.
• Lead make/buy and platform-vs-custom decisions with architecture governance.
• Shape solution concepts with sales and business development during scoping and proposals.
• Translate customer needs and business requirements into architectural solutions.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor in customer workshops and steering meetings.
• Coordinate across disciplines to ensure architectural integrity and mitigate risks (integration, EMC, thermal, safety, certification).
• Support project managers and department heads with technical planning and design reviews; mentor senior engineers.
• Contribute to technology roadmaps and reusable platform strategies, including embedded AI and edge computing.
