Job summary

Etteplan is seeking a System Architect to define and drive the technical architecture of complex embedded product solutions for industrial, energy, ICT, defence and medical customers. This senior leadership role sits at the intersection of electronics, mechanics and embedded software design.

You will own the system-level view that turns these disciplines into manufacturable, certifiable products and act as the technical anchor for challenging customer engagements from early concept through

Qualifications

10+ years of embedded systems development with system-level architecture responsibility.
Experience leading engineering consultancy or product company.
Excellent communication with engineering teams and customer stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Define end-to-end system architecture including requirements, interfaces and trade-offs across hardware, software and mechanics.
Lead make/buy decisions and maintain architecture documentation and governance.
Shape solution concepts with sales during scoping and proposals.
Translate customer needs into practical architectural solutions.
Act as a trusted technical advisor in workshops and steering meetings.
Coordinate across disciplines to mitigate system-level risks such as integration, EMC, thermal and safety.
Contribute to technology roadmaps and reusable platform strategies.
