Job summary

Sweco Finland Oy in Vaasa is seeking a Project Manager for Structural Design with a strong track record in concrete structures and leadership. You will lead design activities through all project phases, coordinate a design team, and stay hands-on with design work.

The role requires 8+ years in structural design, a construction-oriented degree (MSc Tech/BSc Arch/Engineer), and Finnish fluency. You will work locally in Vaasa with Sweco's support for growth and development.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in structural design of concrete structures with project management responsibilities.
• Educational background suitable for construction industry (M.Sc. Tech / B.Sc. Arch / Engineer).
• Proficiency in Office tools and AutoCAD or Tekla Structures; RFEM is a plus.
• Fluent Finnish communication and strong teamwork and independent work capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design from start to end of projects.
• Guide design group and manage schedules and resources.
• Maintain client and stakeholder contact.
• Contribute to design work ensuring high-quality feasible solutions.
