Data Modeler – Helsinki, Finland

Project Context

Cards data warehouse is a central data store of all card related data across Nordics. We source data from multiple channels to create a unified secure and scalable foundation to enable the provision of card related data products. Our data and data products support our deliveries ranging from regulatory and compliance reporting to advanced analytics. The foundation we are building is core part of the Data and AI Strategy.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Good to deep understanding of the cards domain – Clearing Authorizations etc.
• Expert in Data modelling
• Good to strong knowledge about data products and canonical data modelling
• Perform detailed dimensional data modeling to design efficient and scalable data warehouse and business intelligence solutions
• Analyze and understand complex business processes to translate them into effective data models
• Collaborate closely with IT and business stakeholders to ensure data models meet functional requirements
• Evaluate existing data models and optimize for performance consistency and usability
• Utilize knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing concepts to support data integration and reporting needs
• Work with cross functional teams in an agile environment to deliver high-quality data solutions
• Maintain documentation related to data models standards and best practices
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in data modelling techniques and tools
