Job summary

Nordea is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to strengthen the architecture capability in International Corporate Branches Technology (ICBT). The role focuses on secure, resilient and future-proof solutions across central banking platforms, payments and integration landscapes, in a full-time, hybrid setup.

You will define target architectures, translate business and regulatory needs into practical options, and lead architectural design across legacy and modern tech.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in a Solution Architect role within banking or large enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of enterprise and application architecture, integration patterns, APIs, data flows and non-functional requirements.
• Experience driving architectural analysis, solution design and decision-making across legacy and modern technology landscapes.
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly to business and technology stakeholders.
• Proactive ownership, collaboration and documentation skills, across organisational boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Define target and transition architectures for central ICB solutions across payments, core banking and integration.
• Translate business needs, regulatory expectations and technology strategy into architectural options and practical recommendations.
• Lead solution design for changes across legacy and modern technology landscapes.
• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, analysts, developers and operations colleagues across locations and value streams.
• Support delivery governance by preparing and reviewing architecture artefacts such as high-level designs, security input, solution documentation and implementation roadmaps.
