SEB in Finland is seeking a Solution Architect to guide our Custody architecture path within the ICCF Institutional Global Custody ART. You will partner with business and technology colleagues to define and implement robust, scalable architectures across APIs, data, cloud, and AI-enabled development.

You bring at least five years of architect experience, a relevant degree, strong developer background, and excellent networking and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience as an Architect.
• Strong ability to establish robust and flexible architecture across technologies and platforms.
• Excellent networking and communication skills within business and IT.
• Fluent in English and developer background.
• Experience in banking or financial services is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead the architect team in the Custody area within SEB.
• Be part of the architect team in the ART Institutional Global Custody.
• Collaborate with the SEB architect community to align and materialize roadmaps.

What will you be doing?

Lead the way:

Asa Solution Architect,you’llbe instrumental in guiding our teams towards adopting and implementing our defined architecture in their daily development activities. Yourexpertisewill serve as the compass that ensureswe’realways moving in the right direction.

Build bridges

You’llact as a trusted advisor, fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders across Business, Business Operations, and Technology. Your insights and recommendations will be crucial in aligning our architecture with the evolving needs of our Custody services.

Your responsibility will be to:

• Work as a solution architect intheART Institutional Global Custody
• Be part of the architect team in the Custody area
• Be part of the SEB architect community and interactwithotherarchitectsinrelevant parts of SEBto be able toalign andmaterialize yourarchitectureroadmaps.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:

• At least five years ofexperiencefromworkingas anArchitectand are passionate aboutcreating business value byestablishingrobust and flexible architecture that involves different technologies andplatforms,
• Experience fromworking at a bank, a financial institution or similar,
• Enjoy working with both strategic- and operationalarchitecture,
• Have a bachelor’s or master´s degree in a relevantfield,
• Are pragmatic in your solution ideaswhen you need to beandcanvisualize and clearly articulateconsequencesof various technologies andplatforms(both verbally and in written form),
• Possess excellent networking and communication skills both within business andIT,
• Have astrong interest in keeping updated on the trends inindustryand technology
• Understanding of Responsible AI and practical experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot,
• Familiarity with generative AI, agentic AI and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and the ability toidentifyrelevant business use cases.
• Experience ofworking with APIs, GCP, Data, applicationdevelopmentand procured IT systems.
• Are fluent in English,
• Have astrongdeveloper background.

It is an advantage if youhave:

• Have an AI portfolio to show,showcasingyour experience in designing or integrating AI-enabled capabilities into secure and scalable enterprise solutions.
• Have an interest in and experience from working with Custody
• Experience fromworking with securities,equitiesand/or derivatives
