SEB is seeking a SAR Decisioning Officer to join the SAR Decisioning team. You will assess suspicion, decide on SAR filings, and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements. You will also analyze SAR data to improve controls and reporting across SEB.

The role is based in Sweden, with Solna preferred; alternative locations in Sweden may be considered. You will work with AML/CTF professionals and interact across governance and control functions to strengthen consistency and quality.

Competenze

• Academic degree in law, finance, economics, criminology, or another relevant field.
• Clear Swedish and English communication, both spoken and written.
• ICA or ACAMS certification is an advantage.
• 7+ years of AML/CTF, financial crime compliance, SAR investigations, decisioning, or reporting.
• 5+ years of hands-on SAR filing experience, including complex cases from multiple sources.
• Experience with SARs linked to correspondent banking and different products is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CTF laws, regulations, typologies, and supervisory expectations.

Mansioni

• Perform quality reviews of Suspicious Activity Reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Assess whether identified suspicion meets the threshold for reporting and make well-supported filing decisions.
• File SARs in accordance with internal procedures and timelines; provide feedback to investigators and stakeholders.
• Analyze thematic trends and SAR-derived intelligence to improve controls and reporting standards.
• Support stronger reporting quality and consistency across the organization.
