Outokumpu seeks an IT Concept Owner/Solution Architect for Finance and Controlling to design and own global solutions, ensuring governance, security, and performance. You will bridge IT and business stakeholders, align services with enterprise architecture, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Job description

Were seeking IT Concept Owners/Solution Architects, Finance and/or Controlling to design and own Finance and Controlling solutions globally ensuring proper governance and documentation of our solutions, including maintenance and support.

You will help to define the service strategy and roadmap, oversee day-to-day performance, and act as the primary interface between IT and business stakeholders. You will ensure services are aligned with enterprise architecture, secure, resilient, and scalable - driving continuous improvement, process harmonization, and innovation that supports our business transformation.

In this position you will:

• Design and own Finance and/or Controlling technical solutions globally from the IT side working in co-operation with the business process owners and development managers.
• Participate in estimation work and deployment activities.
• Ensure proper governance and documentation of our solutions, including maintenance and support.
• Manage stakeholders’ expectations and translates business requirements into functional specifications (ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders).
• Drive standardization, automation, and improvement initiatives.
• Support IT services and application tasks, including vendor management.
• Make sure that services and applications are available, secure, and perform effectively.
• Conduct current state assessments to identify gaps and aligns system functionality with business objectives (strategic alignment).
• Support to prepare budgets and forecasts, ensuring compliance and cost-efficiency.
• Definy and execute IT strategy for Finance and Controlling services across their lifecycle.

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent qualifications
• Practical experience in SAP with a focus on SAP FI/CO
• Profound knowledge of Finance processes
• SAP project experience and ability to do SAP FI and/or CO customizing
• SAP S/4 HANA and/or SAP ECC project experience
• Understanding of Treasury integrations and other SAP processes (SD, MM, Authorizations..) considered as an advantage
• Knowledge of IT architecture
• Analytical approach and proven proactive approach to continuous improvement
• Ability to build up trust and respect by excellent co-operation and communication skills
• Support business case development from an IT perspective
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
