Job summary

ICEYE seeks a Senior Sales Engineer to lead technical proposals for mission opportunities, shaping concepts and responding to tenders. You will collaborate across Sales, Product, and Engineering, acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the lifecycle of proposals and contracts.

Based in Espoo with 2-day remote flexibility, you will travel 20–30% and engage in European opportunities, including government tenders, to win complex missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Physics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in sales engineering, bid management, or pre-sales, ideally in a Newspace-sector setting.
• Able to translate complex systems into customer-friendly value propositions and navigate procurement environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical proposals for mission opportunities and ensure alignment with ICEYE offerings.
• Craft compelling narratives for tenders and RFIs/RFPs and support early discussions through contracts.
• Provide technical leadership in customer engagements and act as trusted advisor across tender lifecycle.
• Represent ICEYE as a strong technical voice in Missions Sales Engineering.
