Job summary

University of Turku is seeking Fellows for the TIES2 COFUND programme on campus in Finland. Fellows will conduct a self-designed, internationally excellent research project over three years, disseminate results, and contribute to interdisciplinary activities.

Applicants must reside in Finland and are expected to undertake a 3–12 month secondment outside higher education. Salary is €4,592/month gross, with mobility and family allowances if eligible, plus additional travel and research funding.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a doctorate including public defence/viva by the deadline.
• Research must align with non-higher-education sector collaboration and include a 3–12 month secondment outside higher education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a self-designed, internationally excellent research project over three years.
• Disseminate results and attend TIAS meetings and events.
• Participate in interdisciplinary activities and ensure alignment with the Turku department themes.
