Job summary

Fidelity International is seeking a Senior Public Policy Manager to drive EU policy strategy across Europe, with support for Germany. The role involves analyzing legislation, shaping advocacy materials, and coordinating stakeholder engagement with the Public Policy / Corporate Affairs team.

You will work with the Director of Public Policy, travel as needed, and contribute to policy trackers and briefing materials while operating in a hybrid Brussels or Frankfurt office environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in EU government relations, public policy or advocacy.
• Proven ability to produce clear, evidence-based analysis and manage concurrent priorities.
• Fluent in German and English; additional European languages are beneficial.
• Degree or equivalent in politics, international relations, economics, finance, law or languages.

About your team :

Our Global Public Policy team helps Fidelity International anticipate and shape policy developments, building constructive relationships and translating external change into clear insights for the business.

About your role :

As Senior Public Policy Manager, you will support the delivery of Fidelity International’s public policy strategy across Europe. Working closely with the Director of Public Policy, you will focus primarily on EU policy developments, while supporting advocacy in Germany as this activity grows.

You will monitor and analyse legislative, regulatory and political developments; research complex issues; and turn your analysis into clear, evidence‑based advocacy materials. You will bring together input from across the business to develop positions aligned with our strategic and commercial priorities and help deliver targeted stakeholder outreach.

You will represent Fidelity International at external events, support the management of relationships with industry bodies and external agencies, and coordinate multiple priorities by maintaining accurate stakeholder records, policy trackers and briefing materials.

About you :

• You will bring 7+ years’ experience in EU government relations, public policy or advocacy, including a track record of helping to successfully deliver advocacy objectives.

• You will be able to produce clear, evidence-based analysis, manage concurrent priorities effectively, build constructive stakeholder relationships and collaborate with colleagues across the business to deliver agreed outcomes. An interest in financial services and investment policy is important; previous experience in these areas would be an advantage but is not essential.

• Full professional proficiency in German and English is essential. Additional European language skills would be an advantage.

• You will have a degree or equivalent qualification, or relevant professional experience, in a field such as politics, international relations, economics, finance, law or languages.

We are open to candidates being based in either our Brussels or Frankfurt office. This is a hybrid role, with travel likely to be required as part of the role.
