Job summary

Hitachi Energy Finland Oy in Vaasa (Finland) invites a Senior Project Planner to join our Project Controls team. You will shape schedules for large electrical substation projects from tender to handover, working with project managers, engineers and SCMs to ensure time, cost and scope alignment.

You bring a MSc/BSc in Electrical engineering, strong experience in planning complex projects, and advanced Primavera P6 skills. English proficiency is essential; Finnish or Swedish is a plus.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical engineering or another relevant field.
• Proven experience in planning and scheduling complex projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and knowledge of schedule management theory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Finnish/Swedish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and scheduling activities for complex substation projects from tender to handover.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules with project teams.
• Support predictable schedule forecasting, risk management, and cost/resource alignment.
• Prepare schedule reports and What-if analyses; drive schedule governance and improvements.
