Job summary

V7 Recruitment is recruiting a Senior Project Planner to join a leading data centre delivery specialist in Helsinki. You will develop, maintain and review detailed master construction programmes and produce project controls documentation for senior stakeholders.

The role focuses on monitoring progress, identifying risks, and providing variance analysis, with opportunities to grow within a collaborative project environment. Accommodation and travel support are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 2+ years' experience in construction planning or project controls.
• Experience on large-scale construction projects, preferably data centres, mission-critical or high-tech environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and review detailed master construction programmes.
• Produce project controls procedures, progress reviews and reports for senior stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, delays and variances in programmes.
• Support problem-solving and implement corrective actions as required.
• Manage programme resource requirements across pre-construction, construction and commissioning phases.
• Create and maintain progress reporting tools to track milestones and objectives.
• Provide regular performance updates and variance analysis.
• Represent planning in client and subcontractor meetings.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure clear communication of status.
• Support development of long-term client relationships and contribute to business growth.
• Take ownership of assigned projects while supporting colleagues in the team.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and best-practice planning processes.

V7 Recruitment are working with a leading data centre delivery specialist to recruit an ambitious Project Planner to join their growing project delivery teamin Helskinki, Finland.

The Role

• Developing, maintaining and reviewing detailed master construction programmes.
• Producing project controls procedures, progress reviews and reports for senior stakeholders.
• Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, delays and programme variances.
• Supporting proactive problem-solving and implementing corrective actions where required.
• Managing programme resource requirements across pre-construction, construction and commissioning phases.
• Creating and maintaining progress reporting tools to track key milestones and project objectives.
• Providing regular performance updates and variance analysis.
• Representing the Planning function in client and subcontractor meetings.
• Working closely with project teams and key stakeholders to ensure clear communication around programme status.
• Supporting the development of long-term client relationships and contributing to wider business growth.
• Taking ownership of assigned projects while supporting colleagues across the wider planning team.
• Contributing to continuous improvement and the development of best-practice planning processes.

What We're Looking For

• Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience within construction planning or project controls.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects, ideally within data centres, mission-critical or high-tech industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and planning processes.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject.
• Experience with BIM or digital construction tools would be highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an understanding of programming techniques and production rates.
