Job summary

SEB is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Infrastructure & Cyber Defence in Finland. You will lead complex IT infrastructure initiatives, balancing security, resilience and operational needs while coordinating across teams and stakeholders to deliver secure, future-ready solutions.

You will drive momentum, manage dependencies and risks in a dynamic environment, reporting to ICD leadership and contributing to SEB’s digital backbone. Hybrid work model and extensive training await.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex IT infrastructure initiatives from planning to delivery.
• Understand infra and cyber security environments (networks, data centres, servers, cloud, IAM, security monitoring, IT ops).
• Structured, outcome-oriented mindset translating objectives into delivery plans.

We are now looking for an Infrastructure & Cyber Defence Project Manager to join our team of senior specialists. In this role you will support the organization across several areas and contribute to the continued development and protection of SEB’s digital backbone. You will help ensure that our infrastructure remains secure, resilient and prepared for the future, while working closely with other colleagues to drive structure, coordination and delivery.

About the role:

Cross Business Area Function brings together senior specialists who support the other areas within Infrastructure & Cyber Defence across a broad range of expertise. We provide capabilities within areas such as commercial management, risk management, project management and portfolio management, helping to drive coordination, structure and delivery across ICD. By combining deep specialist knowledge with a cross-functional perspective, we enable teams to manage complexity, align priorities and deliver secure, resilient and business-relevant outcomes.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead complex initiatives from planning to execution, ensuring clear direction, structured progress and strong alignment across teams, stakeholders and decision-makers. You will play a key role in creating momentum, managing dependencies and risks, and driving delivery towards agreed outcomes in a dynamic environment. A critical aspect of the role will be to balance business needs, security considerations and operational requirements to enable resilient and sustainable solutions.

The role will involve driving highly technical projects close to core infrastructure, hardware, networks and security capabilities. One of your first assignments will be to lead a strategically important initiative within infrastructure and cyber security, helping to ensure that SEB’s security posture remains robust and future-ready as technology and threat landscapes continue to evolve.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

• Proven experience leading complex technical or IT infrastructure related initiatives from planning to delivery, with responsibility for scope, progress, dependencies, risks and outcomes.
• A good understanding of infrastructure and cyber security environments, such as networks, data centres, servers, cloud platforms, identity and access management, security monitoring or IT operations, and how these areas impact project planning, prioritisation and delivery.
• A structured, outcome-oriented mindset with the ability to translate strategic objectives and technical requirements into concrete delivery plans.
• Strong ability to manage priorities, make informed trade-offs and keep delivery on track in environments with technical dependencies, multiple stakeholders and changing conditions.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration across technical teams, vendors and organizational units.
• Experience engaging with both senior and operational stakeholders, with the ability to communicate complex technical and business matters clearly and support well-informed decision-making.
• Good understanding of how security, risk management, regulatory requirements and operational considerations impact technology delivery.
• Ability to navigate complex organizational and technical environments, manage competing priorities and drive decisions in alignment with business needs and strategic objectives.
