Job summary

SEB in Finland is seeking a senior Domain Architect to lead and evolve the architecture for large-scale infrastructure, connectivity, and cloud services. You will drive target architecture, align with enterprise strategy, and mentor the architectural community.

You will translate business needs into roadmaps, guide engineers across domains, and influence senior stakeholders while balancing opportunities and risks in a complex technology landscape.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience driving architecture within large-scale infrastructure, connectivity, and cloud environments.
• Ability to operate at Domain, Area, or Enterprise level with hands-on leadership.
• Deep expertise in networking, cloud foundations, observability, and security operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive, lead, and evolve the area architecture in alignment with enterprise architecture and business strategy.
• Own and govern the architecture for a large and complex area.
• Define and maintain the target architecture and roadmap.
• Lead our architectural community of Solution Architects within our area.
• Contribute to strategic planning and transformation initiatives.
• Guide and mentor architects and engineers across the area.
• Collaborate across areas to ensure end-to-end architectural consistency and be part of the architectural decisions for SEB.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, balancing opportunities and risks.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and influence key decisions.

What you will be doing

We are looking for aDomain Architectto lead and evolve the architecture within our Infrastructure & Security OperationsArea. This is a senior role with full accountability for a large, complex, and highly interconnectedArea, where connectivity and networking capabilities are at the core.

You will define and drive the target architecture to support businessobjectives, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, regulatory expectations, and long-term technology strategy.Theareaincludesglobal network services and communication platforms, cloud foundations and landing zones,observabilityand monitoring capabilities, as well as security operations, forming the backbone of SEB’s secure, resilient, and scalable technology landscape.
