Job summary

EverHire is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a giant Data Centre project in Southern Finland. You will have overall responsibility for delivering your project safely, on time, on budget and to the highest quality, leading a multidisciplinary team on a fast-paced construction site.

You will coordinate with the Project Director, site team, subcontractors and client; manage programme, cost, and quality, and ensure compliance with Finnish legislation and client standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive construction project experience, including senior project management of large-scale projects.
• Experience from Data Centre or Mission Critical projects is highly beneficial.
• Alternatively, experience from large-scale industrial, pharmaceutical, advanced manufacturing or energy projects.
• Proven experience leading project teams and coordinating multiple contractors and subcontractors.
• Strong programme, cost and risk management skills.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Main contractor and design-and-build experience is beneficial.
• Fluent English, Finnish is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery from mobilisation through to completion and handover
• Build, lead and develop a team of Project Managers, Construction Managers and Engineers
• Own and manage the project programme, and drive recovery plans where needed
• Manage project budgets, cost control and change management together with the commercial team
• Support procurement and ensure resources are obtained on cost-effective terms
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, designers and consultants across all packages
• Manage interfaces between civil, structural, architectural and MEP works
• Act as a key interface with the client and chair project and progress meetings
• Maintain high standards of HSE, quality and environmental compliance
• Ensure robust project controls and produce regular reports for senior management and the client
• Ensure compliance with Finnish legislation, company requirements and client standards

We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager for a giant hyperscale Data Centre project in Southern Finland. This role suits you if you want to lead delivery on one of the largest and most complex construction projects in the region.

About the role:

You will have overall responsibility for delivering your project safely, on time, on budget and to the highest quality. The project is large, high-paced and involves many contractors, and you will work closely with the Project Director, the site team, subcontractors and the client.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead project delivery from mobilisation through to completion and handover
