Veikkaus Group is seeking a Senior Product Owner – Sports to lead the Digital Channels Product team. The role focuses on delivering and evolving the Sportsbook experience across our digital platforms, bridging business needs, customer insights, and front-end requirements into clear backlogs and epics.

Hybrid work with three on-site days in Helsinki, and the option for Sweden or Malta. You will drive measurable outcomes aligned with responsible gaming and the long-term product roadmap.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product ownership or business analysis, preferably with front-end focus.
• Strong backlog management, requirements translation, and cross-functional coordination.
• Experience with agile delivery practices and customer journey optimization.
• Experience in the iGaming industry is a strong advantage.
• Experienced in working across digital channels, including mobile apps, mobile web, and desktop.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Owner – Sports, to join our Digital Channels Product team and play a key role in delivering and evolving Veikkaus’ Sportsbook experience across our digital platforms. The role ensures front-end efforts are aligned with Digital Channels’ overall goals and long-term product vision. You’ll bridge business needs, customer insights, and front-end requirements into clear backlog priorities, leading cross-functional teams to ensure efficient execution and optimal use of capabilities. The role drives measurable outcomes that enhance player experiences in line with Veikkaus’ mission of responsible and sustainable gaming.

This position is permanent and full-time, an is located at Veikkaus’ headquarters in Helsinki, Finland. We work flexibly in a hybrid model with three on-site days per week. The role can also be located in Sweden or Malta.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and manage the product backlog to balance short-term delivery needs with long-term objectives.
• Gather and translate complex front-end requirements into actionable epics that align with the long-term roadmap while enabling short-term delivery.
• Collaboratively document and prioritize front-end requirements aligned with business requirements and customer goals.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure delivery outcomes match business strategy.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, UX, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of agreed high-quality outcomes.
• Ensure measurement of success metrics and KPIs for front-end performance.
• Ensure alignment with the long-term business roadmap while enabling short-term delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Product Management, or related field.
