Job summary

Qt Group is seeking a Senior Director, Qt Product Management to own the long-term product vision and customer strategy across multiple portfolios. You will lead senior product leaders and collaborate with R&D, Sales, and Marketing to drive growth and customer success globally.

You will shape the strategy, govern investments, and ensure alignment with executive leadership while expanding into new markets and defending key verticals like automotive. Espoo or Oulu with travel.

About The Role

Our Qt Business Unit's mission is to drive the growth and success of the Qt product portfolio through customer-centricity and market-driven strategy. Qt product teams own the customer and product strategy, from defining the roadmap to ensuring customer satisfaction.

As Senior Director, Qt Product Management, you will provide leadership for the Qt product organization and its multiple product portfolios. You will own the long-term Qt product vision and customer strategy, and ensure that product investments support sustained business growth, market leadership and customer success globally.

You will lead senior product leaders and their teams to identify and leverage new commercial and technology opportunities, explore new markets, and bring Qt products to new customer segments together with R&D, Sales, and Marketing. Your central mandate is to lead the transformation from a product- and technology-focused organization to a customer-centric one and build the product management capability needed to execute a winning strategy.

A critical part of this role is ensuring that existing customers continue their journey with Qt. This includes active churn management and strategic customer retention, especially in key verticals such as automotive, where defending our current position is as important as expanding into new areas such as defense. Balancing growth initiatives with customer loyalty strategies is a central pillar of success in this role.

This position is located in Espoo or Oulu, Finland, with some travel expected.

What You’ll Do

• Define the enterprise product vision and long-term strategy for the Qt product portfolio, translating it into actionable plans and measurable business outcomes.
• Lead multiple product portfolios through a team of senior product leaders and highly skilled commercial and technical product managers.
• Shape Qt Group business strategy using market, customer, and competitive insights, including identifying new markets and customer segments.
• Govern major product investment decisions, setting portfolio priorities and allocating resources to maximize growth and customer value.
• Drive alignment across executive leadership and with R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success on product direction, go-to-market planning, and product launches.
• Embed customer retention and churn management in product strategy, defending existing positions (e.g. automotive) while expanding into new verticals (e.g. defense).
• Act as senior customer advocate, representing the voice of the customer in strategic decisions; define and monitor customer satisfaction metrics and lead continuous improvement.
• Lead organizational transformation and build Product Management capability, including operating models, portfolio governance, leadership development, and succession.

What You Bring To The Table

• Extensive product management experience, including 5+ years in senior product leadership roles leading other product leaders (leadership of leaders).
• A track record of defining and executing long-term business and product strategy across multiple portfolios or business lines.
• Proven strength in strategic portfolio governance and investment decision-making, with solid financial and commercial acumen.
• Executive presence, with the ability to influence and align executive leadership teams and communicate a compelling product vision.
• Experience leading organizational transformation, ideally a shift toward customer-centric product management.
• Experience in the software industry, or in an industry combining hardware and software with meaningful software exposure.
• Demonstrated leadership in an international business environment, including leading multi-location teams.
• A data-driven approach to decision-making, grounded in analysis of market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscapes.
• Full professional-level proficiency in English.
