Job summary

Qt Group in Finland seeks an experienced Embedded Product Lead to translate product strategy into a concrete technical roadmap, aligning with users and stakeholders while building business cases for the next steps.

You will lead a cross-functional team of R&D and UX, manage ecosystem partnerships, and influence go-to-market plans to showcase value to developers in an AI-first market.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical product management in the embedded software industry.
• Strong knowledge of chipsets, GPUs, hardware platforms, and BSPs, with hands-on experience across Yocto Linux, Android, Linux distributions, and RTOS.
• Demonstrated track record leading and influencing cross-functional teams across time zones.
• Hands-on experience with, or strong understanding of, AI-driven developer tools and platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (proficient/native-level English).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Product Lead to take our developer framework to the next level. Converting our product strategy into an actionable technical roadmap, aligning with users and multiple stakeholders while building the business cases for our next steps will be among your responsibilities.

Possible locations for this role are Espoo or Oulu, Finland.

What You Will Do

• Align with customer and user requirements to match expectations with our embedded roadmap and define the strategy towards the market segments.
• Manage technical relationships with ecosystem partners including semiconductor vendors, board vendors, OS vendors, and cloud service providers in alignment with business goals and market needs.
• Own the strategy execution based on strong experience with P&L and ROI calculations.
• Provide product leadership within a cross-functional product team with R&D and UX to maximize productivity and result in faster time-to-market.
• Collaborate with our portfolio management and business analysts to succeed within an AI-first developer market.
• Manage and lead the embedded go-to-market to showcase value to our users.
• Manage internal stakeholders including R&D, IT, Marketing, and Sales to ensure the success of the Embedded Business.

What You Bring To The Table

• 5+ years of experience in technical product management in the embedded software industry, with proven experience building P&L and ROI business cases to justify technical and product investment decisions.
• Strong knowledge of chipsets, GPUs, hardware platforms, and BSPs, with hands-on experience across Yocto Linux, Android, Linux distributions, and real-time operating systems.
• Demonstrated track record leading and influencing cross-functional teams (R&D, UX, Sales, Marketing) across time zones, without direct authority.
• Hands-on experience with, or strong understanding of, AI-driven developer tools and platforms, and how AI is reshaping the embedded developer market.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (proficient/native-level English), able to draw on deep technical knowhow to translate complex concepts into clear business impact for non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
