This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing company and make a real impact as we push the boundaries of space data transfer.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the commissioning and routine operations of current and upcoming satellites, providing technical direction, operational decision-making, and oversight across all mission phases
  • Act as the primary interface for customers on satellite operations topics, ensuring alignment of expectations and delivery of operational commitments
  • Coordinate across internal teams (spacecraft, payload, ground segment, and software) to ensure seamless integration and execution of operations
  • Support platform and payload subsystems, satellite simulator, on-board software management, and ground segment operational interfaces
  • Participate in the definition, acceptance, and lifecycle management of satellite simulators, including development and procurement follow-up and maintenance
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve operational documentation and flight procedures
  • Perform trending and performance analysis of platform and payload, supporting regular and event-driven operations reviews (e.g. eclipses, manoeuvres, decontamination)
  • Lead anomaly investigation and resolution, including prioritisation, root‑cause analysis, stakeholder communication, and definition of corrective and preventive actions
  • Participate in satellite on‑call support rotation
  • Prepare systems, processes, and teams for new satellite missions, ensuring operational readiness
  • Contribute to the definition and evolution of system and satellite operational concepts, ensuring alignment across spacecraft design, ground segment, and operations
  • Review space‑to‑ground interface specifications and flight operations manuals
  • Contribute to Operational System Validation activities, including SVTs, rehearsals, and training of operations personnel prior to commissioning
  • Support the definition and implementation of tools, processes, and infrastructure for scalable satellite operations
Skills and Requirements

  • Strong understanding of spacecraft operations workflows across mission phases
  • Ability to contribute to system specifications and operational concept definition
  • Knowledge of On‑Board Control Procedures (OBCPs) and Packet Utilization Standard (PUS)
  • Good understanding of space‑to‑ground interfaces and flight operations documentation
  • Strong ownership and coordination capability in operational environments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with customers and cross‑functional teams
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
