Lokki Henkilöstöpalvelut Oy in Helsinki is seeking a Senior Mobile Developer / Mobile Tech Lead to drive UI uplift and modernization of our mobile banking apps. You will work hands-on on iOS and Android, leading UI improvements across platforms and collaborating with design and product teams to deliver a modern user experience.

The role requires 7+ years in mobile development, deep Swift or Kotlin expertise with strong hands-on skills in the other platform, and experience guiding UI

Qualificações

• 7+ years of professional mobile app development with a proven track record of delivering large-scale mobile solutions.
• Strong expertise in either iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin), with strong hands-on experience in the other platform.
• Experience leading or driving UI modernization, redesign, or uplift initiatives in mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, or similar.
• Experience with UIKit, Auto Layout, Jetpack Compose, XML layouts, and Fragments.
• Strong understanding of unit testing, UI test automation, and quality engineering practices on mobile platforms.
• Experience integrating and consuming REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and backend integration.
• Experience working with secure, high-quality, customer-facing applications where performance, stability, and security are critical.
• Ability to drive technical discussions, collaborate with designers and stakeholders, and take ownership of end-to-end deliveries.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in agile cross-functional teams.

For our client in the banking sector we are looking for a Senior Mobile Developer / Mobile Tech Lead – iOS & Android.

The consultant will be responsible for driving the UI uplift and modernization of the mobile banking applications while working hands‑on with both iOS and Android development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead UI improvement initiatives, ensuring a modern, consistent, and user‑friendly experience across mobile platforms.
• Design, develop, and maintain features for iOS and Android applications.
• Collaborate with designers, architects, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Contribute to mobile architecture, technical design, and development best practices.
• Ensure high quality through code reviews, unit testing, UI automation, and continuous improvement activities.
• Take ownership of delivered solutions, including implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Support the team in end‑to‑end deliveries, including frontend and backend contributions when needed.
• The consultant is expected to combine technical leadership with hands‑on development and play a key role in improving the user experience of digital banking services.

Must‑have knowledge and experience

• 7+ years of professional experience in mobile application development with a proven track record of delivering large‑scale mobile solutions.

Location: Helsinki, Finland (hybrid) (Only for candidates residing in Finland)
