Job summary

Lokki Henkilöstöpalvelut Oy in Helsinki is seeking a Senior Mobile Developer / Mobile Tech Lead to drive UI uplift and modernization of our mobile banking apps. You will work hands-on on iOS and Android, leading UI improvements across platforms and collaborating with design and product teams to deliver a modern user experience.

The role requires 7+ years in mobile development, deep Swift or Kotlin expertise with strong hands-on skills in the other platform, and experience guiding UI

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional mobile app development with a proven track record of delivering large-scale mobile solutions.
• Strong expertise in either iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin), with strong hands-on experience in the other platform.
• Experience leading or driving UI modernization, redesign, or uplift initiatives in mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, or similar.
• Experience with UIKit, Auto Layout, Jetpack Compose, XML layouts, and Fragments.
• Strong understanding of unit testing, UI test automation, and quality engineering practices on mobile platforms.
• Experience integrating and consuming REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and backend integration.
• Experience working with secure, high-quality, customer-facing applications where performance, stability, and security are critical.
• Ability to drive technical discussions, collaborate with designers and stakeholders, and take ownership of end-to-end deliveries.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in agile cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead UI improvement initiatives for a modern mobile experience.
• Design, develop, and maintain iOS and Android features.
• Collaborate with designers, architects, developers, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to mobile architecture, design, and best practices.
• Ensure code quality via reviews, testing, and automation.
• Own end-to-end delivery including deployment and production support.
• Support frontend and backend contributions as needed.
• Combine technical leadership with hands-on development.
