Job summary

Krosswise in Finland is seeking a Senior/Lead AI Scientist to develop agentic capabilities and lead the delivery of AI solutions for clients. You\'ll work in an experienced team where agentic development is the standard way we work.

You will guide client engagements, shape requirements, and ensure solutions meet expectations. The role offers a hybrid model with offices in Tampere or Helsinki, and English as working language; relocation is not provided.

To support our growth, we are expanding our AI team and broadening our offering.

Your role

We are looking for a Senior / Lead AI Scientist to develop Krosswise AI's agentic capabilities and lead the technical delivery of AI solutions for our clients. You will work in an experienced team where agentic development is not an experiment but the way we work.

In this role, you will develop agentic capabilities that enable us to efficiently produce tailored agentic solutions built on the latest AI, including sovereign environments. You will lead client deliveries of AI solutions in a technical role, making sure that what we build works as intended and meets our clients' requirements. We've been building our capability for a while now and our core team is running at full speed, yet we're still early enough that you will have a real say in what Krosswise AI looks like tomorrow.

What we expect

• At least 5 years, preferably 10 years, of relevant experience
• Strong experience in classical AI and machine learning
• Experience in implementing agentic solutions and agentic development in a key role
• In-depth understanding of generative AI models and methods
• Experience in conceptualising AI solutions and defining requirements together with clients

Experience and expertise in the following will be considered an advantage:

• Previous experience in a consulting role in software development or data engineering
• Experience, vision or interest in leading change

Due to the nature of our projects and our strong sense of community, we work in a flexible hybrid model, which means being prepared to work at our office in Tampere (GO21 building) or Helsinki (Aleksanterinkatu) when needed. If you're based in the Turku region, we'd be glad to hear from you too.
