Job summary

Lokki Henkilöstöpalvelut Oy is seeking an IT Developer for a banking client to modernize pricing engines and cash flow processing solutions. You will migrate legacy logic to maintainable systems and design cash flow generation logic while collaborating with business, QA and infra teams.

You will apply AI-assisted tools to accelerate development, migration, and testing, and write clear technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing cash booking flows within a financial institution.
• Experience constructing complete debit and credit booking instructions from a business event.
• Experience routing booking instructions to downstream booking and/or ledger systems.

Job description

For our client in the banking industry, we are looking for an IT Developer to work on pricing engine modernization and cash flow processing solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain components of the price engine, with a focus on migrating legacy application logic to modern, maintainable systems
• Design and implement cash flow and cash instruction generation logic
• Analyze existing legacy processes to identify migration paths and refactoring opportunities
• Apply AI-assisted tools (e.g. code assistants, LLM-based analysis) to accelerate development, migration, and testing
• Collaborate with business/product owners, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure accurate, compliant pricing and settlement logic
• Write clear technical documentation
• Support testing, validation, and rollout of migrated components with minimal disruption to production

Required Skills:

• Experience implementing cash booking flows within a financial institution.
• Experience constructing complete debit and credit booking instructions from a business event.
• Experience routing booking instructions to downstream booking and/or ledger systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in banking/financial services
• Familiarity with pricing engines or trade/settlement systems
• Experience with mainframe or legacy platform migrations
• Experience building or customizing AI-assisted workflows/tooling for engineering teams

Contract start: 16.11 2026
Contract end: 15.2 2027, possible extension
Location: Helsinki (min. 3 days a week at the office)
Allocation: 100 %
