Job summary

Lokki Henkilöstöpalvelut Oy is seeking a Senior Android & iOS developer to design, implement, and maintain mobile apps in a banking project. The role requires Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and Swift expertise, with hybrid work in Oulu, Finland and immediate start.

You will migrate legacy UI to Compose, refine UI components to fit our design system, and promote best practices for scalable mobile development. English fluency is required, with a competitive salary and benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Android & iOS apps with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose and Swift.
• Lead modernization by migrating legacy View-based UI to Compose.
• Refactor and update custom UI components to align with the design system and UI libraries.
• Drive frontend engineering practices for maintainable, scalable mobile solutions.
• Develop and maintain automated UI tests with Espresso & XCUnit.
• Create and maintain unit tests and verification activities.
• Participate in feature design, testing, release and ongoing maintenance.
• Analyze application behavior, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance, stability, and UX.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, QA, architects and business experts to deliver customer-centric solutions.

For our client in the banking sector we are looking for a Senior Android & iOS developer.

Description:

• – Design, implement, and maintain high-quality Android & iOS applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose & Swift.
• – Lead and contribute to the modernization of existing applications by migrating legacy View-based UI implementations to Compose.
• – Refactor and update custom-built UI components to align with the standardized design system and UI component libraries.
• – Drive frontend engineering best practices, promoting maintainable, scalable, and reusable mobile solutions.
• – Develop and maintain automated UI tests using Espresso & XCUnit and contribute to improving overall test automation coverage.
• – Create and maintain unit tests and other verification activities to ensure application quality and reliability.
• – Participate in feature design, implementation, testing, release activities, and ongoing maintenance.
• – Analyse application behaviour, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvements to performance, stability, and user experience.
• – Collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, QA engineers, architects, and business experts to deliver customer-centric mobile solutions.
