Job summary

For our client in the banking industry were looking for a QA Engineer.

Detailed description of work task to be carried out:

• Acting as a key member in one of our agile teams
• Manual and automated testing of our Backend and frontend applications using latest tools and technology
• Help the team in delivering high-quality solutions
• Manage, evaluate and continuously improve the quality of our applications
• Testcase management, execution and providing test results
• Design, execute, and maintain API test automation to validate APIs, service responses, integration points, and backend quality.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API, mobile, and accessibility testing across relevant platforms.
• Explore edge cases and ask thoughtful ”what if” questions to go beyond basic checklist-based testing.
• Test on both iOS and Android devices, understanding platform-specific limitations and behaviours.
• Take the customer needs and together with business drive the best solution, where your input is very important

Must-have knowledge and experience:

• Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright.
• Experience with mobile test automation tools.
• Experience with API testing and API test automation, including validation of APIs, service responses, and integration points.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Java for test automation.

Nice-to-have knowledge and experience:

• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with performance, security, or exploratory testing.
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional product teams.

Allocation: 100 %

Assignment start date: 15.10.2026

Assignment end date: 14.4.2027, possible extension

Location: Helsinki, Finland

Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken
