Job summary

A leading aerospace company in Helsinki is seeking a Senior Payload Engineer for its SiltaSat Project. This role involves designing communication payloads and requires extensive experience in RF and optical engineering, particularly for GEO satellites. Responsibilities include managing the payload design process and collaboration with various engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or PhD and 5-10 years of experience in this field, with a proactive working style and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in GEO communications.
• Experience in design or implementation of RF equipment.
• Fluent written and spoken English skills.

Responsibilities

• Architectural design of communication payloads including RF and Optical.
• Define and analyse different components of the telecom payload.
• Work with the AIT team for implementation activities.
