Job summary

AMD is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead forward-deployed GenAI programs for strategic customers. This role sits at the intersection of frontier AI research, production-grade GenAI systems, and large-scale GPU deployments.

You will partner with forward-deployed engineers, internal teams, and customer stakeholders to ensure that state-of-the-art GenAI models run efficiently, reliably, and cost-effectively on AMD GPUs. Global support is included.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex, cross-functional technical programs in ML/AI.
• Experience delivering medium-to-large-scale AI programs with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of GenAI inference and performance optimization.
• Experience with GenAI stacks and frameworks (PyTorch, inference servers, serving frameworks).
• Ability to translate customer requirements into executable technical roadmaps.
• Strong technical communication with engineers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of forward-deployed GenAI programs with strategic customers.
• Serve as the technical program lead for GenAI performance and enablement.
• Drive GenAI performance optimization for latency, throughput, cost.
• Collaborate with inference and training framework teams to optimize models.
• Translate customer requirements into executable roadmaps with milestones.
• Act as a key interface between customers and AMD teams.
• Communicate trade-offs and program health to stakeholders.
• Incorporate learnings into product and engineering roadmaps to accelerate adoption.
