Job summary

AMD is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead forward-deployed Generative AI programs with strategic customers. This customer-facing leadership role sits at the intersection of frontier AI research, production-grade GenAI systems, and large-scale GPU deployments, partnering with forward-deployed engineers and customer stakeholders to ensure models run efficiently on AMD GPUs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex, cross-functional technical programs in ML/AI environments.
• Proven track record delivering medium-to-large-scale AI programs with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of GenAI inference and performance optimization (latency, throughput, cost).
• Experience operating at framework and system level with PyTorch and related stacks.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of forward-deployed GenAI programs with AMD's strategic customers from onboarding to production readiness and large-scale GPU deployment.
• Serve as the technical program lead for GenAI performance, scalability, and enablement initiatives across frameworks and GPU platforms.
• Drive GenAI performance optimization focusing on latency, throughput, concurrency, and cost for interactive workloads.
• Collaborate with inference and training framework teams to push model and framework-level optimizations upstream.
• Translate customer requirements into executable roadmaps with milestones, risks, and success metrics.
• Act as a key interface between customers and AMD engineering, product, and business teams to maintain momentum.
• Communicate trade-offs, risks, and program health clearly to senior engineers and executives.
• Incorporate customer learnings into product roadmaps to accelerate GenAI adoption at scale.
