Job summary

Remedy Entertainment is seeking a Senior Gameplay Animator to create high-quality gameplay animations for next-gen games. You will lead character and weapon animations, using motion capture and keyframe techniques, while collaborating with programmers and designers to maintain rapid prototyping and animation quality.

Hybrid working model, relocation support, and a strong emphasis on mentorship and skill development are offered.

Qualifications

• Experienced Animator with solid skills in keyframe animation (weight, timing, pose).
• Strong understanding of Motion Builder and mocap data editing for games.
• Ability to craft appealing animations and understand shape, composition, and layout.
• Experience using game engines and state machine/blend tree solutions; motion matching is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain high quality animations for characters and weapons/props.
• Develop animations using motion capture and hand-key techniques where needed.
• Collaborate with Programmers and Designers to enable fast prototyping and ensure animation quality.
• Design, capture and integrate animations into the Northlight engine within technical constraints.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure smooth development workflow.
• Mentor team members to help them grow and improve their skills.
