Job summary

Groweo is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer in Helsinki to shape how a scale-up AI platform evolves. You’ll join one of the first senior engineers in the Helsinki core team and influence frontend foundations, UX, design systems and performance.

You’ll work on React and TypeScript-powered interfaces, dashboards and AI-driven experiences, collaborating with product, design and backend engineering. This role is based in Helsinki with on-site collaboration and a remote day per week option.

Qualifications

5-7+ years of experience building beautiful, interactive frontends.
Deep experience with React and TypeScript.
Strong understanding of component architecture and modern frontend development.
Ability to take an ambiguous problem, shape the solution and drive it forward.
Strong eye for UX and attention to detail, with motion/animations experience.
Professional proficiency in English.
Experience in SaaS/startup environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Build and evolve user experiences across Groweo's products using React and TypeScript, collaborating with Product, Design and Backend Engineering.
Create scalable frontend architecture, reusable components and a design system.
Turn concepts into polished, performant, accessible experiences.
Own features end-to-end from user problem to production.
Improve frontend performance, testing and development practices.
Help define technical standards for engineers joining the team.

What you'll work on

You'll build and evolve user experiences across Groweo's products using React and TypeScript, working closely with Product, Design and Backend Engineering.

Your work will include:

Building conversational AI interfaces, dashboards that visualize complex data beautifully, and interaction patterns that feel intuitive
Creating scalable frontend architecture, reusable components and design systems
Turning concepts into polished, performant and accessible experiences
Owning features end-to-end, from understanding the user problem to production
Improving frontend performance, testing and development practices
Helping define technical standards for the engineers who join after you

You’ll work with products handling large amounts of interaction data, real-time AI experiences and multiple product suites as we scale.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced frontend engineer who combines strong technical skills with product thinking.

You'll likely have:

5-7+ years of experience building beautiful, interactive frontends
Deep experience with React and TypeScript
Strong understanding of component architecture and modern frontend development
The ability to take an ambiguous problem, shape the solution and drive it forward
A strong eye for UX and attention to detail, as well as experience with motion and animations
Professional proficiency in English
Working with a SaaS product in a scale-up or startup environment isn’t required, but can be considered a plus

You need to be based in the Helsinki capital region and have a valid work permit for Finland. We don't currently offer relocation or visa sponsorship.

What we offer

5,000–6,500 euros/month, depending on your experience
One paid day off each week (Monday or Friday)
