Job summary

Jobgether in Finland is seeking a Senior FP&A Expert to design and evaluate FP&A tasks and reference solutions for an AI evaluation project. You will build complex financial models, craft realistic scenarios, and assess AI-generated analyses against professional standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in FP&A or related fields, strong Excel modelling, and experience with budgets, forecasts, and financial statement analysis. This is a fully remote project-based opportunity.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of FP&A or related experience.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling with transparent formulas.
• Experience managing or supporting FP&A processes, including budgets, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, headcount planning, and investments.
• Strong understanding of financial statements: income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, working capital, liquidity.
• Proven ability to build scenario-based financial models, evaluate different business assumptions, and assess their impact on financial performance.
• Experience reconciling complex or conflicting financial information across spreadsheets, contracts, business documents, and management reports.
• Excellent written English communication skills, with the ability to prepare detailed task instructions and concise explanations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to exercise independent professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic FP&A tasks and business scenarios reflecting complex financial planning and decision-making processes.
• Develop comprehensive financial models and reference solutions using Excel with transparent formulas and documented assumptions.
• Create practical exercises covering annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis, headcount planning, and investment evaluations.
• Build and assess integrated financial analyses including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow forecasts, working capital, and liquidity.
• Develop complex business scenarios using multiple information sources (spreadsheets, contracts, emails, management presentations).
• Review and evaluate AI-generated financial models, analyses, and recommendations for accuracy, consistency, and relevance.
• Identify material financial errors, unsupported assumptions, and weaknesses in financial models or conclusions.
• Establish evaluation frameworks and acceptance criteria, recognizing valid alternative methodologies.
• Prepare precise task instructions, reference answers, and concise executive explanations communicating findings.
