Job summary

SME Careers in Finland is seeking an Accounting SME contractor to review AI-generated accounting content and provide expert feedback. You will evaluate reasoning, identify errors, and write precise explanations and model solutions. This role is remote and hourly.

You will ensure accuracy across journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements, while adhering to GAAP/IFRS and internal control concepts. Prior AI data training or accounting writing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA/ACCA/CMA a plus.
• 5+ years of professional accounting experience in various settings.
• Strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge; proficient in revenue recognition, accruals, and close processes.
• Experience preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and internal controls concepts.
• Familiarity with audit readiness and control environments.
• Proficient English (C1) with ability to write clear explanations and follow guidelines.
• Ability to work as an hourly remote contractor across time zones and maintain quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI Training Content: create prompts and gold-standard accounting outputs.
• Optimize AI Performance: evaluate and rank AI responses for accuracy and clarity against GAAP/IFRS.
• Ensure Model Integrity: test AI outputs for inaccuracies, bias, and consistency across scenarios.
